Maggie Low, DVM

Dr. Maggie Low was born and grew up in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Her passion for animals began at a young age when she began riding horses and became very involved in the local 4-H club. As a member of the medical academy at NSBHS she volunteered and later worked at Coronado Animal Clinic where she was mentored and gained knowledge about veterinary medicine. Dr. Low attended University of Florida obtaining a degree in Animal Science, Master of Public Health and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Go Gators! After vet school Dr. Low completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Hollywood Animal Hospital. Before moving back to the area she continued to work in South Florida for two years practicing general medicine. Special interests include dermatology, dentistry and the animal/human bond. In her free time Dr. Low enjoys crossfit, yoga, horseback riding and volunteering with her therapy dog Petunia. In addition to Petunia, a French bulldog, Dr. Low shares her home with a mutt named Zeus, French bulldog, Fry, and two orange tabbies, Moose and Monkey.
